1. Visit ‘Temple of Flowers’ where you can see flowers throughout the four seasons. [23 Dec 2024]

“Hasedera Temple”, a temple located in Sakurai District, Nara Prefecture. This place is famous for the walkway leading up to the main building ‘Noborirou’ built by the chief priest of Kasuga Taisha Shrine in the Heian period to thank for curing his son’s illness. Currently, Hasedera Temple is designated one of Japan’s important cultural properties.
In addition, Hasedera Temple is called ‘Temple of Flowers’ because you can see flowers throughout the four seasons. In particular, during the autumn foliage season, there are about 500 pots of kiku (菊) and about 100 types of kiku (菊) arranged on the ‘Kiku Path’. I guarantee that everyone will go home with a full impression!
Moreover, during spring, there is also a display of peonies, and In early summer, hydrangeas will start to bloom. It can be said that everyone can enjoy flower viewing all year round.

Celebrate the year’s end and welcome the new year with a trip on the giant cruise ship “Esperanza” around Ako Bay! Kashikojima España Cruise’s Esperanza cruise ship departs from a port near Kashikojima Station and cruises around Ako Bay for about 50 minutes. 🛳

The name “Esperanza” means “hope” in Spanish, and this ship was inspired by the carracks of the Spanish era of large sailing ships.
The 2nd-floor cabin has a private deck near the bow, and a special room “Isabella” with viewing equipment such as binoculars, so you can fully enjoy afternoon tea with that view!In addition, if you go up to the 3rd-floor deck, you can enjoy a view of Ako Bay surrounded by lush islands and beautiful scenery that preserves traditional Japanese nature. ※ There is an additional charge for using the special room “Isabella” (adults 500 yen, children 300 yen) and it is a reservation system on a first-come-first-served basis.
