1. Visit ‘Temple of Flowers’ where you can see flowers throughout the four seasons. [23 Dec 2024]

“Hasedera Temple”, a temple located in Sakurai District, Nara Prefecture. This place is famous for the walkway leading up to the main building ‘Noborirou’ built by the chief priest of Kasuga Taisha Shrine in the Heian period to thank for curing his son’s illness. Currently, Hasedera Temple is designated one of Japan’s important cultural properties.

In particular, during the autumn foliage season, there are about 500 pots of kiku (菊) and about 100 types of kiku (菊) arranged on the ‘Kiku Path’. Celebrate the year’s end and welcome the new year with a trip on the giant cruise ship “Esperanza” around Ako Bay! Kashikojima España Cruise’s Esperanza cruise ship departs from a port near Kashikojima Station and cruises around Ako Bay for about 50 minutes. 🛳 

The name “Esperanza” means “hope” in Spanish, and this ship was inspired by the carracks of the Spanish era of large sailing ships.
