2.PANZA Tenshiba i:na in Osaka

PANZA TEN-SHIBA i:na is a popular adventure and indoor rock climbing center located within the “TEN-SHIBA” green space at the entrance of Tennoji Park in the heart of Osaka, Japan. 3.S.Labo (presented by SOUKI) in Nara

S.Labo is an innovative space dedicated to exploring and learning about sock making. It was established by SOUKI, a sock factory almost 100 years old, located in Koryo, Nara Prefecture, which is renowned as a major centre for sock production in Japan. S.Labo operates on three core concepts “Meet, Learn, Play,” providing visitors with an immersive experience in the world of socks.

The S.Labo space features three main areas, starting with ‘Meet’, which is a shop area that showcases various sock brands from SOUKI, allowing visitors to experience the unique designs and high-quality knitting firsthand.

Next is ‘Learn’ zone, a workshop where you can learn about the history and techniques of sock repair, including how to make sock monkey dolls from leftover fabric scraps from sock production.

5. 万川集海BANSENSHUKAI in Mie

The Iga Ninja Village, located in Iga City, Mie Prefecture, is famous as the birthplace and training center of ninjas since ancient times. Recently, a new activity called ” 万川集海BANSENSHUKAI” has been launched. This ninja training center offers visitors a challenging and immersive experience into the world of shinobi, set against the backdrop of a well-preserved old town with traditional architecture and culture.

The highlight activities are divided into two main courses. A ninja knowledge course “Makatakutsu”, which is ideal for history enthusiasts who want to learn about ninja concepts and philosophies from ancient texts, and a full 2-hour ninja skills training course. Second is skills course “Ninshuden”, participants will dress in full ninja attire, explore the area, practice various ninja techniques, and face simulated situations involving hiding from enemies.

After enjoying the activities, visitors can taste Iga beef, a unique breed of Wagyu known for its melt-in-your-mouth tenderness.
