April is the month that travelers love to come to Japan because April is the best time to travel and do a lot of activities!

For example, challenge yourself with “EDGE THE HARUKAS”; a narrow deck above the glass fence located on the top floor of the 300-meter tall building in Osaka, or witness the whole view of Mount Yoshino painted in pink color of cherry blossoms by riding Kintetsu trains, and join “The Festival of Nemophilia”; where around a million lovely light blue Nemophilia blooms across 46,000 square feet of a vast field at Nabana no Sato.

1.Celebrating 10th anniversary of ABENO HARUKAS with “EDGE THE HARUKAS” [3 April 2024]

ABENO HARUKAS is celebrating its 10th anniversary of operation by reopening “EDGE THE HARUKAS”, the infamous attraction of “HARUKAS 300 (ABENO HARUKAS Observatory)”!

EDGE THE HARUKAS is a narrow deck above the glass fence located on the top floor of the 300-meter tall building, where the visitors can safely experience the thrill of walking on the edge of the skyscraper while attached with a safety harness. Visitors can wholly enjoy a full-body experience of the 360-degree perspective from the height of 300 meters, and the vast cityscape beneath HARUKAS.

How to access ABENO HARUKAS
  • Located right above the Osaka-Abenobashi Station, or Abeno Harukas stop if riding the bus from Osaka-Uehommachi Station.

2.Witness the whole view of Mount Yoshino while taking a ride on Kintetsu train [11 April 2024]

Kintetsu Railway’s Yoshino lines have 4 seasons of flowers planted alongside the train route, offering each season’s seasonal flowers for passengers to enjoy throughout the whole ride.

In April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the beautiful sight of pink cherry blossoms can be viewed right from the window of the Kintetsu train.🌸

We have witnessed the whole view of Mount Yoshino painted in pink color of cherry blossoms, as the word says “A thousand trees at once”. While the scenery is truly amazing, experiencing these sceneries throughout the train journey is fantastic.

3. The Festival of Nemophilia at Nabana no Sato [23 April 2024]

Nabana no Sato, the famous flower attraction of Mie Prefecture, is currently at the best time of the season to visit the fields of the bright blue petals of Nemophila. 🩵

From mid-April to mid-May, the Flower Square zone of Nabana no Sato hosts “The Festival of Nemophilia”, where around a million lovely light blue Nemophilia blooms across 46,000 square feet of a vast field.

Moreover, the vivid spring flowers Lupine and Viola are also in full bloom, painting the garden in brilliant colors of spring. Every season Nabana no Sato will showcase a different bloom of flowers of each season, so please be sure to give this colorful flower field a visit at least once.🌸

★ Additionally, Tunnel of Illumination light will be opening for visits until June, 2nd!
★ During the Illumination light period, there will be buses to Nabana no Sato operating from Kintetsu Nagashima station. (the bus stop is approximately 10 Minutes away from the station)

4. Ikomasanjou Amusement Park in Nara [30 April 2024]

The perfect season for outdoor activity in Japan is arrived! Nara Prefecture’s Ikomasanjou Amusement Park, which children can safely enjoy, is crowded with guests during the Golden Week. ✨

Ikomasanjou amusement is filled with many wonders and one of its greatest highlights is the fantastic view! On the amusement park’s popular rides, the “Flying Tower”, and the “Cycle Monorail”, you can get a panorama view of Osaka’s vast open fields. Moreover, the sight of Osaka’s landmark, “Abeno Harukas”. And when the weather is clear, you might even be able to see the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge! ☀️

In the summer (around August), the amusement park will also be operating at night, allowing visitors to enjoy the nocturnal lights of nighttime Osaka for a limited period.

How to access Ikomasanjou Amusement Park
  • A 1-minute walk from Ikoma station to ride Ikoma Cable Car From Toriimae station, change at Hozanji station then drop off at Ikomasanjo station.
