The numbers of stop is the only thing that differs from these two trains, and both of them will go to Namba.
The concept of the train design is “retro-future”, and rapi:t means “fast” in German.
A perfect name for this wonderful train, isn’t it?
Just like the aircrafts, rapi:t train cars are colored in cobalt blue and have huge oval windows.
Riding on the rapi:t limited express train makes you feel as if you’re traveling on an aircraft!
How to read your tickets
Using your ticket, you can check the car and seat numbers. The departure time and estimated time of arrival are also printed on the ticket.
The ticket shows that our seat is on car no. 3 with seat no. 6, so we’ll get on the car no. 3 to find our seat!
Inside the train
All rapi:t trains have 6 cars, with the regular seats on car no. 1 to 4, and super seats on car no. 5 to 6.
Regular seats are 4-row seats, and super seats are 3-row seats.
You can enjoy a sophisticated atmosphere while traveling using this special train!
The overhead compartments look like the ones inside the aircraft.
There is a luggage space for over-sized luggage near the doors.
It’s lockable with key, so you don’t have to worry about your luggage even when you’re sitting far away from it.
The train also has vending machines.
A free Wi-Fi service is also available inside the train, so you can stay mobile while traveling.
Let’s check the car no. 5 and 6!
Do you notice the differences between super seats and regular seats?
As you can see, the super seats are much more comfortable than regular seats.
They have wider seats and arm rests, and are also equipped with drink holders.
The overall design of the super seat cars is similar to the aircraft cabin, which is very comfortable.
The recliner buttons on the seats also look similar to the ones on aircraft seats.
If you look closer, you’ll notice that the seats have leopard-print design!
The staff might check your ticket during your trip, and if you show your ticket to them, you’ll be alright.
