1. Ishikiri Sando Shopping Street [2 Aug 2024]

“Ishikiri Sando Shopping Street” has an authentic atmosphere that showcases true Japanese style. Plus, it’s not too far from Osaka. When you exit the train station and walk a bit, you’ll see a sign “Welcome” at the front of the district.

This is where you’ll start to see ancient shops and buildings lining the streets. This area has many old shops open since the Taisho period. They also have many Japanese snacks such as Yomogi Dango, Handmade Senbei and Dorayaki. Suitable for walking and eating.

But if you want a heavy meal, We recommend stopping by to sit and eat “Yomogi Udon” at “Yamatoya”; a famous restaurant that has been open for over 70 years! Besides all the food, There are also traditional Chinese medicine shops and fortune-telling booths.

If you want to travel in this area, We recommend noontime as there will be a gathering of people in the community. It makes the atmosphere very lively!
