1. Take the ropeway to enjoy stunning views of “Mt. Gozaisho.” [10 Jan 2025]

We invited everyone to explore the recommended spots in Mie Prefecture during the winter, particularly “Mt. Gozaisho.”This majestic peak stood at 1,212 meters high. We highly recommend taking the ropeway to the top, where visitors could enjoy stunning views of the surrounding scenery and the entire mountain. The ski resort at Mt. Gozaisho had been open since January 1st and was very popular among beginner skiers and families. It featured a special snow slope designed for sledging, making it an ideal spot for children who were just starting to enjoy winter activities. If the weather is good, you may be able to see the “snow monsters” or juhyo (樹氷), which are a natural phenomenon in winter.
