1. Taste the deliciousness of “Frais”, an original cake set on the “Blue Symphony”. [3 Jul 2024]

This summer on the limited express “Blue Symphony” we began selling “Frais,” an original cake set, on the train route from Osaka-Abenobashi station to Yoshino station that had started in June.

Tropical-style cheesecake uses intense cream cheese as the main ingredient with coconut caramel, fried pineapple, mango, and passion fruit pudding.

Everyone will enjoy the refreshing sour taste from the first bite to the deep, sweet taste at the last bite. In French, “Frais” means refreshing. So this is a perfect summer dessert!

Come and experience the sweet taste that can only be found on the limited express “Blue Symphony”!

2.Have an ultimate adventure at “Shima Green Adventure” [9 Jul 2024]

“Shima Green Adventure” is finally open!

The activity resort facility “Shima Green Adventure” has opened in the Ise-Shima area of ​​Mie Prefecture on July 11th. Along with the spectacular view of Ago Bay, you can enjoy a wide variety of 20 types of attractions and glamping. 

Full of attractions that both children and adults can enjoy, such as a zip line through the great outdoors and a tree house!

At our 17 glamping facilities, you can enjoy the unique nature of Ise-Shima to the fullest. We provide a luxurious “space” where you can relax and spend time alone.

3.Be dazzled by the emerald-coloured waterways and ravines ‘Mitarai Vally’ [12 Jul 2024]

‘Mitarai Valley’ is a place where you can see the amazing view of the emerald green canyon, Mitarai Falls, and other natural waterfalls

As you walk along the 7 km path in the gorge, You can feel the refreshing breeze blowing through the waterfall, Or just sit and soak your feet in the stream to cool down!

4.Take a ninja-themed train ride to fulfill your childhood dreams! [26 Jul 2024]

In Iga, Mie Prefecture, known as the birthplace of Iga ninjas, you can see the special “Ninja Train” designed by manga artist Leiji Matsumoto.

There are 3 designs of Ninja Train, which are blue, pink, and green. The picture is of a pink train. And while waiting, everyone will be excited to see what colour train will arrive at the station?!

“Uenoshi Station” on the Iga Railway is also known as “Ninjashi Station”, and you can feel the unique atmosphere of a castle town at the station. There are many attractions such as Iga Ueno Castle and Iga Ninja Museum, so why not check them out?

5.Visit ‘Hosanji Temple’ on a lush mountain (Close to Osaka!) [31 Jul 2024]

If you take the train from Osaka to Nara about 20 minutes. You’ll find Hosanji Temple nestled on a lush mountain. 

Hozanji Temple is located in the middle of Mount Ikoma, Nara Prefecture. It is one of Japan’s three sacred temples honouring the god of commerce which has been believed by Japanese people for a long time.

There are temples to worship various gods, surrounded by lush greenery and mountain paths. You’ll experience a unique retro atmosphere and when you look down, you will find a beautiful natural landscape beyond your imagination.

It would be best to visit the Ikoma district close to Osaka for anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and needs a relaxing trip.

Everyone will have a unique experience!

  • Take Kintetsu train to Ikoma Station, then take the Ikoma cable car to Hosenji Station (It takes about 6 minutes.)
  • If you walk from Torii-Mae Station to Hosenji Station, it takes about 10 minutes.
